Katie is a board certified Physician Assistant and is licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. She joined Tareen Dermatology in 2022. Katie grew up in Sandpoint, Idaho and completed her undergraduate education with a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Boise State University. She then moved to the Midwest and attended Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois where she obtained her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. Katie is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants (MAPA), and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). Katie enjoys caring for a wide variety of medical, surgical, and cosmetic patients. In her free time, you can find Katie working out at the gym, exploring the food scene in Minneapolis, spending time with friends, or on a plane to her next adventure.
