The Right Batteries
If you find that your digital devices drain AA and AAA batteries far too fast, you could be using the wrong batteries. Duracell, Energizer and Panasonic feature a battery that is designed for power-hungry gadgets. They provide higher voltage and longer battery life. Nickel oxyhydroxide and lithium batteries are best. Rechargeable batteries provide less voltage, but can be recharged indefinitely, says tech expert Bryan Keogh with the Wall Street Journal.
