Q. Taking the environment into consideration, what is the best way to dispose of medications?

The old method of flushing medications is unacceptable today. Governmental agencies are scrambling to find an environmentally friendly solution. In the mean time, remove all personal identification, render the medicine useless by adding water, flour or kitty litter to the bottle, double bag the container and put it in your trash!
