		Crutchfield Dermatology participates in the Minnesota Twins Baseball Team Skin Cancer Screening Program 2009 Dr. Crutchfield, the Twins official team dermatologist also served as coordinating lead dermatologist in Minnesota Twins Baseball Team Skin Cancer Screening Program sponsored by the American Academy of Dermatology, summer of 2009. The public awareness program is entitled "Play it safe when it comes to the sun". With a partnership between the American Academy of Dermatology and Major League Baseball, and under the leadership of general manager Bill Smith and special assistant Terry Ryan, the Minnesota Twins have been gracious participants for the past 10+ years in this wonderful program that educates youth and parents about the dangers of sun exposure and the importance of sun protection. We also wish to thank the many Twins players, coaches, administrative staff and family members who participated. This year over 80 participants were screened. Dr. Crutchfield wishes to thank his staff for assisting in the program and the efforts of the other physicians who participated; Drs. N. Foman, K. Kortuem, and V. Eyunni. This was the 8th year Dr. Crutchfield served as coordinating dermatologist for the event.
