An average man will shave 60 hours a year; 5 month of his life will be spent peering at his sleepy, soapy face in the mirror. No such time was wasted by Hans Langseth of Norway and North Dakota (1846-1927), who grew the longest beard on record: 17.5 feet. Upon his demise it was clipped and donated to the Smithsonian Institution. A Sikh in India (Shamsher Singh) currently sports a beard longer than 6 feet.

Then try this: Get into a bathtub and soak for 25 minutes, but don't use any soap. Just before you get out, use a moisturizing bath bar. Pat dry and apply a moisturizing cream or lotion all over your skin. (The cream seals in the water left over from your bath and keeps the dryness out.)
