The doctor is wonderful. The staff smiled at me the entire time I was there. Nursing staff was very nice and knowledgeable. Dr. Crutchfield really cares about his patients. My husband has an appointment based on my referral.

I had tried to see Dr. Crutchfield a number of years ago having heard he was the best. I ended up getting an appointment with another doctor at another clinic who proceeded to try and tell me what psoriasis is. Needless to say, I didn't get the answers I was looking for. Within minutes of meeting Dr. Crutchfield, he had a plan and a promising outlook, which is happening just as he said. My skin is clearing up just as he promised. He is knowledgeable and kind - a terrific combo - with a caring staff. I feel like I have a plan for managing my skin too, and feel so grateful that I can feel more normal again.

My son has had eczema all over his body since birth. We've tried numerous different treatments over the past 9 years and nothing has worked. Dr. Crutchfield's recommended course of treatment began working immediately and 2 weeks later, his skin is so much better. Rashes and dry spots are gone and he doesn't have any more itchiness. I appreciate that Dr. Crutchfield sees every patient on every visit.

Over the last 15 years, I have seen 4 other dermatologists. There was only marginal improvement with their treatments. I quit going to each as I felt it was a waste of time and money. I was refered to Dr Crutchfield by a friend who had astounding success with severe psoriasis on the bottom of her feet. After 4 weeks of following Dr Crutchfiel's theraphy, I no longer itch and scratch myself bloody. My daughter has been seen by Dr. Crutchfield for the past year for treatment of Trichtotillimania. She has pulled out eyelashes and her eyebrows. Dr. Crutchfield gave my daughter several injections to start re-growth of her hair. My daughter states the injections barely hurt to get by Dr. Crutchfield. I have found Dr. Crutchfield and his staff to be very knowledgeable and skilled in dealing with condition. Good comprehensive treatment and very approachable. Good at discussing treatment options and very good with a teenage girl in talking and explaining things to her in a non-threatening and non-judgemental manner. I have not found another derm around to treat this disorder and give the injections in Iowa or Minnesota to a teenager.

I can't believe how good my legs and arms look! My legs have been red, scaly embarrassing for years. I have tried a variety of medications but after a while I gave up. I had a bunch of crazy itchy bug bites on my legs that would not go away. We tried a couple creams and ointments that did not work but then tried a combo of shots, pills, and a different ointment. It worked and the bites went away. Hallelujah! Thank you Doctor Crutchfield!

I visited Dr. Crutchfield's office with severe inflammation of the scalp and face. No amount of constant shampooing could eliminate embarrassing smell that continued to dominate my scalp. I was simply miserable, to say the least. To my worry this spilled into my face. For a woman this was beyond horrifying! But a one-time prescription of Cuticort Scalp Oil and Diprolene did the magic. I was referred to Dr. Crutchfield after a very severe deep rash\burn on both legs which was a mystery as to the cause and appropriate treatment. Dr. Crutchfield was able to identify the disorder almost immediately and was confirmed through biopsies press. I spent 16 days in the hospital and Dr. Crutchfield worked with the hospital staff inappropriate treatment course. I am 45 years old and had put a lot of thought into starting botox treatment. However, I didn't want to undergo a change to my natural facial expressions and was somewhat fearful of the procedure and possible side effects. The staff was wonderful and Dr. Crutchfield is just lovely! I saw him for some cosmetic work- botox and restylane for an all over syringe-based face lift. He was very courteous and very good with the needle and my pain was minimal. I've had no bruising and very little swelling and the results are AWESOME! I really think that his talent with the needle is why my recovery is such a piece of cake. I look like I aged backwards ten years! He gave me a fair quote and offered a discount if I chose to have the work done that day. I did. While having the work done he felt he underestimated how much I really needed in the way of Restylane and gave me more for free. All in all, I saved money and got amazing work for it! I'm just giddy about it! I received a gift of champagne, Godiva chocolates, and a free Javani facial. I have to say that Dr. Crutchfield is indeed the Nordstrom's of dermatology--- or maybe even the Tiffany's! I'm hooked for certain!:)

For two or three years I have been suffering from hives on my face, and I had no idea what triggered it. I'd gone to four different physicians and no one could do a thing for me. Our little guy had white spots all over his skin and we didn't know what they were. It started around age two. Then he broke his leg and it got worse. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the help you have given me in controlling my Psoriasis! My condition has been under control for the first time in my life since I came to Minnesota to see you, and to get your advice and help.

My Psoriasis had started 40 years before, and I had exhausted the roll of Dermatologists out here in California, while hearing the same old story from each of them time and again. Every doctor here told me it was “incurable” and then proceeded to give me the same tired old advice and treatments I had tried before and with no success. I finally settled for a lifetime of wearing long sleeves and long pants during the summer months in my attempts to cover my condition, unless I was with friends or family who accepted my appearance without question. It was always embarrassing however to be asked by strangers who spotted a patch of Psoriasis whether I had fallen down and hurt myself, so I usually lied to them and said yes.

My wife’s cousin had moved to Eagan from Hawaii years before, and part of his decision to do so was due to his own case of Psoriasis. In Hawaii one is almost forced to wear shorts and T-shirts and he too was tired of embarrassing questions. Eventually he was referred to your office for treatment, and the results were so incredible that he called me here in California and offered to fly me out to see you! My wife and I waited until we had free time and had made the decision to make the 4,000 mile round trip to Eagan in our car!

Thank God for that decision, and that long drive, because I had the privilege of spending time in your office and of benefiting from your effective advice and treatment. I was favorable impressed by the friendly and professional way I was treated the moment I walked through the door of your building, and two years later I am happy to report that my condition is still under control, and that I proudly wear my beloved short sleeved shirts and shorts here in the California sunshine! You listened to my questions with patience and caring and you gave answers were new and refreshing and that finally caused me to be optimistic about my condition. For the first time I walked away from an appointment with a Dermatologist with hope and a smile on my face, because after 40 years of searching I had finally found a doctor who didn’t listen to those who had given up long ago, and who went further than anyone else in his search for a cure for this terrible disease!

There is still no cure, but by following your advice and faithfully applying my medications I am 95% symptom free, and my life has been much happier because of it. I have given personal testimonies to others I spot with Psoriasis, and have referred them to your office for treatment, regardless of where they may live. I hope they took my advice to heart and found you.

The conference was beneficial for me in numerous ways, but I believe that the most impacting aspects involved learning about the health world outside the realm of medicine. Initially, I had the presumption that a person had to do either research or clinical work, and that both must be rooted in the scientific aspects of medicine. At the conference, I met a number of medical professionals that did both research and clinical work, such as an infectious disease physician, primarily working with malaria, who did research on AIDS in African American women. She had described her research as combining medicine with social and racial dimensions, which I found to be fascinating. One of my primary worries was that in having a medical career, I would be obligated to focus purely on the medicine. However, after the conference, I now know that I can incorporate other disciplines, such as psychology and sociology, into my work while still being an active physician. As such, I feel as though now I have a greater perspective into my future aspirations, and I have you to thank for that. Once again, I appreciate contributions, Dr. Crutchfield, and without your help, I might not have had such an impacting experience.

I was a bit anxious about the full-body skin exam but she alleviated my anxiety by explaining the exact procededure the doctor would follow. For the last thirty years, I have seen numerous dermatologists who have recommended a plethora of treatments and procedures in hopes of conquering my complexion problems – all to no avail.

In June of 2007, I stepped into your office. I was inspired by your professionalism and obvious expertise, and impressed by your genuine care and concern.

Per your recommended plan, I set up eight sessions of Aramis treatments along with using a prescribed topical and oral antibiotic. Although my insurance would not cover the Aramis, you accommodated me in offering a nice discount. For that I’m grateful!

During my office visits I browsed through your brochures. The Botox information piqued my interest. After struggling with acne for so many years, I now had wrinkles to deal with too! I decided to give it a try!

After the Botox injection in my forehead, I’m hooked! You have an uncanny talent that is a form of artistry and expertise. No droopy eyes to replace forehead wrinkles. Instead I am refreshed, look relaxed and feel as if I’ve had a mini forehead lift which also “opens” my eyes! Thank you!!!

During my one-month follow up for the Botox, I inquired about Restylane for reducing the appearance of lines around my mouth. After your encouraging words, again I decided – why not?! Dear Dr. Crutchfield,

I am glad I chose your clinic from the many presented on the Internet. Your articles in various magazines and printed information on your website influenced thankfully, my decision. The cost in comparison to liposuction was another deciding factor. There was minimal downtime and I explained my neck being swollen as a bee sting one time and a spider bite at others.

I am so happy with the results because it does not appear that I had anything done and that is a sign of a job well done. I always notice the double-chin effect or swollen neck on people who have had mesotherapy or liposuction and most of those had a defining jaw line, but looked ridiculous because below that line the skin was loose and hanging.

Your staff was at all times kind, considerate and thoughtful. I am grateful for the professionalism at your clinic as well, and most importantly, the final result.
