5 Foods I Never Miss At The Minnesota State Fair – From Instagramer Minneapolis.Eats
Wild Rice Specialties’ Wild Rice Cheeseburger
Wild Rice Specialties (inside the food building). While I hate to admit I didn’t get one the first 2 days of the fair, I am now unable to stop thinking about it. The burger is a mix of beef and wild rice. It is one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten and my all-time favorite food at the fair. Super gooey, and cheesy, and hot! Coupon #73 in the Blue Ribbon Bargain Book for $1 off a burger!
El Sol Mexican Food’s Breakfast Burrito
This is the first thing I like to eat when I get to the fair. This burrito contains chorizo, egg, potato, and cheese and salsa if you want. The flavor is so good! They only have them until 10:00 am though!
French Meadow’s Breakfast Croissant
Another breakfast thing, but you can’t argue with the best! French Meadow has created the most perfect sandwich with egg, bacon, tomato, cheese and some magic sauce. Ask for extra sauce.
Fudge Puppy from Granny’s Kitchen
A fudge puppy is a Belgium waffle dipped in chocolate and then covered in other toppings like sprinkles, whipped cream, caramel, and this year… bacon! Coupon #57 in the Blue Ribbon Bargain Book if you want $2 off an original.
Blue Barn’s Blueberry Basil Lemonade
Not a food, but my favorite drink that I get everytime I go to the fair. Also while you are at Blue Barn you should probably just check out their food too. A little on the pricey side but good portions, great flavors, and very instagram worthy 😉
