A chemical peel utilizes a special solution to improve skin texture by removing the damaged outer layers. Chemical skin peels increase cellular turnover and refine the outermost layers of the skin. This in turn reduces fine lines and wrinkles, eliminates brown sun damaged areas, and leads to skin brightening and tightening. Specific peels may be used to treat melasma, acne, and even precancerous lesions.
Basic Chemical Skin Peels
Our basic chemical peels include a range of single-acid treatments that help to increase skin cell turnover and brighten the complexion. This can vary based on an evaluation of your skin and is included but not limited to Salicylic, Glycolic, Mandelic and Lactic acid.
VI Peels
Safe for all skin tones, VI Peels are great for acne, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and sun damage. They use a combination of acids to penetrate more deeply than a single acid peel.
Mini Melanage Peel
Targets melasma, sun damage and other forms of pigmentation. Contains a combination of gentle AHA and naturally derived skin brighteners.
Pre and post care will be discussed in detail at your consultation however we recommend discontinuing the use of Vitamin A derivatives and products containing hydroxy acid 1 week before and not resuming until 1 week after your treatment.
