Meteor Fun Fact

MeteorEach day about 4 billion meteorites fall to Earth.  Tons and tons of them.  Most are microscopic; some are pebbles.  Occasionally one is big enough to dent a roof or leave a crater.  Because so much of our planet’s surface is ocean, most simply ploosh away unnoticed.
