On an evening early this fall, the Eagan Community Center played host to the area premiere of an award-winning documnetary film, My Skin’s on Fire: Living with Psoriasis. Produced by filmmaker Fred Finkelstein, a sufferer of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, the hour-long film explores the effect of the disease and the life challenges of those who have it.

Eagan MagazineThe event was sponsored by Crutchfield Dermatology of Eagan as a way to introduce the skin condition to the community. “The film is magnificently enlightening, touchingly sorrowful and truly heartwarming, all in one,” says Dr. Charles E. Crutchfield III. “Finkelstein has come up with a true medical documentary masterpiece that is an essential ‘don’t miss’ viewing for anyone who has a loved one or friend with psoriasis and who really wants to know what it is like to live with psoriasis on a daily basis.”

The screening drew a crowd of about 75, and those who missed it can view clips from the film at www.skinfire.org
