Can Hair Braiding Cause Hair Loss?
Hair that is braided tightly can actually produce hair loss. Especially in children. This presents in a classic pattern that can easily be detected.
Will Hair Regrow?
If a small child has hair loss hair care patterns should be reviewed. In addition if the hair loss is occuring in the areas of traction or pulling from braiding these practices should be discontinued and the hair regrowth should occur in just a few months.
