Where Can Botox Be Injected?
The most common areas of the face in which Botox are injected into are:
- frown lines between the eyebrows
- the horizontal lines and wrinkles on the forehead
- crow’s feet near the eyes
Occasionally, other areas of the body may be treated as well, such as arm pits to control excessive sweating. (A condition called Hyperhidrosis.)
Other parts of the face, such as wrinkles around the mouth, are usually treated with a wrinkle filler such as Juvederm or Restylane. Not Botox, as Botox is used to weaken muscles underlying a wrinkle, and wrinkles around the mouth work better when treated with fillers.
