The Heritage Health Fair for students in grades 7-8 held on Friday, April 15, was a huge success. Students learned the importance of good nutrition, exercise, not smoking, using seatbelts, skin care, character qualities, and personal hygiene. Many community partners and volunteers helped with this year’s fair. They included Dakota County Public Health and Extension, Sibley High School students, W. St. Paul YMCA, Crutchfield Dermatology Clinic, district parents, Heritage staff, and Bethel University School of Nursing. The purpose of the Health Fair was to help students learn more about healthy lifestyle choices. The fair was coordinated by Linda Solum, Heritage School Nurse.
