Dry Skin Treatment & Prevention

Best Dry Skin Treatments

Your skin is one of your body's first defences against disease, keeping it outside. That's why having rough and cracked skin on hands, feet, face or anywhere on your body is a particularly vexing problem. To make matters worse, this is often exacerbated even more in our cold Minnesota climate during the changing seasons of the year when indoor heating kicks in and soaks up all of your skin's moisture.

Dr. Crutchfield understands just how important it is to keep your skin moisturized for your skin's overall health. He utilizes the best lotions, moisturizers, and prescriptions coupled with strategic treatment plans to provide dry skin relief. Including sensitive skin that usually reacts to strong lotions.

Best Moisturizing Lotion & Cream

When needed, Dr. Crutchfield will prescribe a prescription-strength product, such as a hydrating lotion or cream for extremely super dry skin. If your condition doesn't require a prescription, there are many wonderful lotions that he uses as dry skin remedies, too. (See our Strategy To Beating Dry Skin In Winter article, which lists some favourite non-prescription body creams and lotions for skin hydration.)
